In The Fallows one man loses the love of his life and he must face mankind and the Gods alone to be reunited with her once again. Not only does the man inspire mankind, he inspires the Greek Gods to work together to call forth there evils of the world back into Pandora's Box, the evils released into the world after Zeus gave a Pandora a box in which he told her not to open punishing mankind because Prometheus stole fire from Mt Olympus and gave it to men. Not only did Zeus give Pandora a box he gave mankind Pandora herself according to Greek mythology, sending her beauty unto the men of the Golden Ages bringing death, toil, theft, murder, and sorrow. In many ways it is quite comparable to the story of Adam and Eve. The Fallows takes the bias away from women in this romantic adventure in which all men, women, and Gods can make the world a better place.
