Finding bed bugs can be extremely difficult unless you know what too look for. Bed bugs have small, flat bodies. Usually the first sign of bed bugs will be on your skin. Bed bugs like to bite in a row on your skin. So sometimes you can find small blood spots on your sheets the next morning. You might even find bed bugs in the folds of the sheets as well. Bed bugs not only are in sheets, they are on the carpet, chairs and upholstery. So make sure you check the linens as well as the carpet, chairs and upholstery.
How To Avoid The Bed Bugs
If you are wanting to avoid the bed bugs in a hotel room, make sure you keep your luggage on a rack inside of the bathroom. You want to make sure you avoid placing your luggage on the carpet of the hotel room. Because the carpet can have bed bugs in it. Another tip for the hotel room is to inspect the room before you place any luggage inside of it. Make sure you check the linens, carpet and furniture. Sometimes you might even pick up a sweet, mildew-like smell on the linens. The smell is from the bed bugs excrement. You might also find some black or rusty-red splatter-like discolorations or even the dead casings of the bugs on the linens as well. Some cushions might even have some live bugs underneath them. So make sure you check everywhere you can. A small flashlight can also help you detect any bedb bugs near by. If you do find bed bugs make sure you notify the hotel that you are staying in so they can take care of the problem.

If you are in your home and you would like to avoid bed bugs, start to tidy up your home. A messy home is where bed bugs can be and infest. If you have a clean home it is difficult for the bugs to live. Another tip to getting rid of New Jersey bed bugs is to have a company come and spray, to kill the bugs.
