“This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.” Zechariah 4-7 KJV
The measure that the House of God is structured according to the measure of the Father’s design—whether individually or corporately—determines the measure of His Glory it will reflect. God has worked over time, building His House, precept upon precept, according to the Body’s ability to appropriate and process revelation. With the Body’s apprehension of revelation and truth, and a grasp of its identity as one being conformed to the very image of Christ, comes the level of Glory it will appropriate—in this process the Body is continually moving from one level of the Glory of God to another.
The Headstone is the culmination of four thousand years of God’s work (beginning with Abraham) refined and perfected in the last days in a body of servants. The building of the Headstone is established and purposed to come forth in the Power and might of the Holy Spirit, in the timing of the apostolic age—the final stage of the building of God’s Temple. The Headstone represents a revolutionary apostolic people led by an ordained apostolic government united with Christ and firmly established by God, working with Him to establish His plans and purposes in the nations through all systems of society in the last days . The Headstone forms the covering of the House of God, and works with the Lord to bring it to completion for the return of Christ.
This vanguard of obedient servants, sold out to Christ, will be ones in the last days who will invade the Kingdom of darkness with Heaven’s Glory Light and turn the world upside down as the disciples did at the birth of the Church, “These who have turned the world upside down…” (Acts 17:6). These flames of fire will walk like Christ, doing and saying only what the Father is doing and saying and will work with God to prepare a Bride for Union with Christ. The coming forth of the Headstone is Heavens release of a prepared apostolic people who are bold enough to believe God and to rule and reign with Him in the manner they were created to.
There are many important features of the early Church that are presently being restored and God is bringing fresh revelation on key doctrines—all working to prepare the Body of Christ for great moves of God on the horizon. Every work that God has birthed in the past or is presently birthing, to enhance the building work of His House, and to transform nations and societies, are all important to the completion of His House—each contributes its ‘part,’ “For we know in part and we prophesy in part” (1Cor. 13:9 ).
The Headstone is the final phase of God’s work in His people before Christ returns; it will reflect the whole counsel of God and be filled with all the fullness of God in order to carry the weight of His Glory that will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
