On the farm field drainage

As we all go about our daily business who would ever think a fiberglass rod could have a positive effect on our rural economy.

Every field you pass by in the state of Minnesota has these rod looking flag flopping things scattered about the fields, and the reason for it is to mark the location of the water intake site of a field drainage tile that ends up in a drainage ditch or county ditch or river or stream. One mans vision of building a marker flag that could stand 365 days a year of wind, hail, rain, snow, sunshine and anything else mother nature could throw at her has turned into a year long manufacturing of markers for all the US and abroad. I can say first hand that these flags and intake covers are built of a quality material, and the ability to custom design these flags to read what you need for advertising or just recognition of someone or something special is a big plus.

Examples like Dekalb Seed. Johnson Tiling, Rank Fertilizer, Berstown 4-H and on and on. These rods do last for years and years and do allow our farmers to mark the locations that are important to keep free of being crushed and  debris, the tile intake cover is designed to allow the water to get away thru the drainage tile in a timely manner without a ton of debris going along for a ride and eventually plugging the tile line buried deep below.

Having an ADS Water Management Dealer in the local area is a huge plus, it allows us the customer to have access to a large number of differenet sizes of drainage tile and Elbows etc. that you may need, they  carry a large inventory at our dealer location and will work hard to get you what you want when you want it.
