Wicca is a modern pagan religion that involves witchcraft. There is a wide variety of groups and paths within the religion, ranging from polytheism to monotheism and other varieties in between. While it is advised by most practitioners to find someone to guide you through and answer your questions, you may be interested in just getting started on your own. Should you need any witch supplies, Pagan home decor, or Wiccan potions, following is some basic information to give you some idea of what you may need or want in order to make your home a more sacred and well-stocked place.
Witch Supplies
If you are just getting started in the study of magic or Wicca, you may need some basic witch supplies. You may want a spell kit. These kits can vary but may include a candle, oil, herbs, incense, and of course, the spell. Fire, water, and sea salt are also used in some rituals. Other supplies just depend on what it is you are trying to accomplish. For example, if you are trying to capture messages from your dreams, you would need a dream pillow and all other related supplies, like herbs, a candle, a potion, and a spell. Your witch supplies are unique to you and your own objectives.
Wiccan Potions
There are a variety of Wiccan potions for a variety of purposes, like health, love, or protection. Some of these are used together with spells. Many times these can be purchased through vendors both online or in stores. You may want to strongly consider the source of the substance. Having a potion brewed by a fellow witch is considered to be much more desirable in the world of witchcraft because they had a specific purpose in mind. But many Wiccan potions can be made with normal at home ingredients. For example, some call for basic herbs like basil, sage, ginger root, or cinnamon.
Pagan Home Decor
Much of this belief system is determined or impacted by environment. The natural outdoor environment is a key element, but adding some Pagan home decor can add to the ambience of your normal surroundings. These decorations are often very mystical in nature, containing owls, cats, fairies, or pentagrams. Just like any normal home accents, the objects can be very basic, like bookends, coasters, or switch plates.
With all the variety in the belief system and the variety in the purposes of your individual practice, it can be hard to know where to start or what to buy or make. Finding someone with some experience in the faith would probably be the best place to start.
