When I was a kid I lived in a house where rail roading was a way of life. My father, two brothers, two uncles and a grandfather all worked on the railroad. I guess you wonder if it was the same railroad, well the answer is no. They worked for the Burlington the Rock Island and Missouri Pacific railroads. So as a kid I got to see a lot of trains and lot of different signal lights, crossing lights and train lights. The trains got to looking all the same after awhile, but when that Signal block would change and you knew the train was coming! The night would be dark and then you see the signal come on with a green target. Then as train rounded the bend its headlight would light up the night and as the end the train passed by the rsd rear markers on the caboose would signal goodbye! I have been in electronic repair for fifty years this year. I have been operating model trains for as long as i can remember. I started designing electronic circuits to add life to signals and trains. It can bring life to a model train layout and some fun too! Electronics can be a little scary but with some help and advice anybody can add these light kits to their layout! I hope you found this interesting, if have any questions email or call me I will happy to talk to you! Thanks for your time.. Neil
