We had baby backs, beef ribs, spicy chicken wings, brisket and sides of green beans, greens, hush puppies, cornbread and fried okra. We had wanted some fried catfish too, but found out (later) that they were out. When... (more)

Average BBQ, nothing too special, i got the super meat plate, with ribs, brisket, and sausage. My two sides were coleslaw and potato salad. I think the attraction is that it is Snoop Dogg's uncle. I guess it is kinda... (more)

I hate reo's ribs, because I once drove out there and it was like in a twilight zone...like I traveled back in time of poor texas neighbor hood back in 70's....but to all you critics, ask your self this...how many bbq... (more)

Aside from REO himself being Snoop Dog's cousin, these ribs pack some serious flavor. Being from the south, ther hush puppies and collard greens are also a real treat. Great prices too.... (more)

Been getting ribs and BBQ sandwiches from Reo's for years. Love all the BBQ I've tried. There sides are also really good - tangy coleslaw & good cornbread. I highly recommend them.... (more)

the title says it all... the brisket sandwich is a steal (the bread doesnt sandwich the meat so much as serve as a platform for it), and the cornbread is awesome. don't worry yourself about the rest too much, and don't... (more)

This is another small place in the area, with great soul food. They have the best ribs and the very best coleslaw, love the sauce they use. The prices are good for the amount of food served.... (more)

Food was terrible, greasy and fatty. Obviously reheated and poor quality and expensive. We barely ate it and became physically ill from it. The place is unsanitary and dirty. Too many other great places in Portland... (more)

Since moving here four months ago, I'd been looking forward to getting a chance to try Reo's. The place looked like a dive and everyone knows about it, which usually means a great, inexpensive meal. However, that... (more)

Take it from a Virginian : I know soul food when I see it and it doesn't get much better than this. The portions are generous and the food is tasty. Reo knows how to do sauce - the kind you just want to lick your plate to get it... (more)

Need I say more??? The brisket is yummmmmm oooooooooh. My 12 yr. old daughter, who is the pickiest of eaters, couldn't get enough of the BBQ. She even said she wanted to hug the man who made it. That's saying A LOT. We got... (more)

If you want real southern BBQ, you have to go to Reo's Ribs! Ignore the bad comments that other people left, they just aren't used to these types of restaurants. No, its not flashy and brand new, its not supposed to be!... (more)

Yeah, the place is ugly. Sure, it's been on Dirty Dining. I agree, the service is slow. Potato salad is kinda soupy. And I am not a fan of Snoop Dogg. All that being said.... the Brisket is AMAZING! I love it, it is worth all... (more)

The food here was below average. The Ribs themselves had very little meat on the bone. Not to mention the meat was very hard to get off the bone and when you did it was dry. The BBQ sauce did not have a good flavor or good... (more)

When you walk in the door you see a semi-collage of pictures of Reo and his family. I think he is Snoop Dogg's uncle as I recall, but anyway. I am here to review the food, right. I love the candied yams, the best I have ever... (more)
