Business Description

Winter Green Farm is a three-family farm located on 171 acres in Noti, Oregon. We grow a variety of organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs, and produce our own tomato sauce, berry spreads, and basil pesto. We manage our farm with an integrated fertility system, which employs composting, farm animals (including a heard of beef cows), crop rotation, and biodynamic farming methods. We have been certified organic by Oregon Tilth since 1984. Our intention is to provide fresh, nutritious produce to as many members of the community as possible. Everyone is nourished by re-establishing the vital link in our communities between food, farms, and families. Members of the Winter Green Community Farm share in the bounty and the risk of the seasons' harvest and in return receive a weekly box of fresh organic, seasonal produce from mid-June through mid-October (Standard Season Share) or up to the week of Thanksgiving (Late Season Share). This annual commitment of mutual support is one way to ensure the survival of local agriculture today and for future generations.
