SISTARS OF HOPE CHARM SCHOOL This program provides weekly workshops, leadership development, service learning, conferences, cultural activities, college prep and college access services, mentorship, personal development, sessions and teaches the importance of true sisterhood. Through implementation of the P.R.I.D.E curriculum and program services, SOH provides girls with decision making and life skills that will assist their development into womanhood. It nurtures and reinforces femininity as a positive identity with inherent strengths and abilities. Given the importance that girls place on relationships, P.R.I.D.E teaches relationship-building skills and empowers girls to use their voice as a positive tool for personal development and social change Sistars of Hope Services Our vision is for Sistars of Hope, NFP to be recognized as a model for social change through the personal and spiritual development of young women who positively impact the world as future leaders. This vision is grounded in our philosophy which states: We believe the empowerment, holistic and educational instruction of girls is necessary for the future development of women who will ultimately operate in their purpose and embrace their destiny?a whole woman is the sum of many parts. Through various programs girls are challenged to to advantage of critical thinking skills in operation of one of the greatest powers humans possess-the power of choice. The community-based model developed by SOH is an approach which encourages the avoidance of at-risk behaviors as a strategy for success while empowering girls with the hope of accomplishing their educational and professional goals through self-discipline, hard work, commitment and service to their community. SOH provides an array of prevention programs which address: HIV/AIDS, obesity, teen pregnancy, substance abuse and violence, as well as financial literacy, leadership development, college access and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) centered programming for girls. LEADERSHIP COLLEGE An intense leadership development program designed to increase self-efficacy and the deveelopment of skills relevant to success in adulthood PARENTS ON THE MOVE Parents of the students participating in SOH Charm School program are required to attend bi-monthly meeting (6 per year) designed to educate and inform parents on risk prevention,college access and program services DEDICATED AND DETERMINED DADS

...Our program,events and resources enhance the mind,spirit and body; supporting women and girls to build lifeskills,spirituality,character,confidence,health and fitness,motivation through social,educational and professional events. We also have the experience of our grandmothers,mothers,aunts,sisters and friends to lead and guide us. They've also traveled this same path into women hood.
