Business Description
Praeclarus Press, LLC is a new small press owned by Kathleen Kendall-Tackett, Ph.D., IBCLC, FAPA, a health psychologist and board-certified lactation consultant. Dr. Kendall-Tackett has been an author and editor in women's health for more than 20 years.

Like many small enterprises, Praeclarus Press began with an idea that was shared with colleagues over a cup of tea. We gathered in the cafe at the British Library, in the center of London, to discuss the logistics of putting together a small press that focused on women's health.
Praeclarus Press publishes books that change people?s lives. We want our books to be engaging, grabbing the reader?s attention, and beautiful, to nourish their spirits. Smart, but still accessible and practical. Compassionate, while reflecting a solid base in evidence. In short, we want them to be excellent.
