The concept of Chicken and Waffles was born in Harlem, New York in the 1930's. Wells served many celebrities as they hung out in the late night hours. Many of them could not decide if they wanted breakfast or dinner-Wells gave them both! Gladys Knight continues the Chicken and Waffles tradition. Gladys Knight and Ron Winans, together with Shanga Hankerson, developed: Gladys Knight and Ron Winans' Chicken & Waffles. Join us for some mouthwatering chicken and waffles, homemade mac and cheese, collard greens, specialty omelets and much much more. Or better yet, allow us to cater your next event! Just be sure to save some room for our sweet potato cheesecake!!! We look forward to serving you.
