Bistro Romano, a historic Philadelphia restaurant with private dining rooms and a mystery dinner theatre is situated in an 18th-century granary in the heart of historic Society Hill. Bistro Romano has been delivering quality service, culinary excellence and value since 1988. Renown for their Regional Italian Cuisine, Bistro Romano has been selected as a "Best of Philly" restaurant. Bistro Romano received the "Wine Spectator Award of Excellence." for 2005, 2006 & 2007. The wine cellar has over 350 selections from around the world. The unique wine cellar, located under the street and part of the former network of underground tunnels in Society Hill, is the place for that romantic dinner.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and I reserved a table in the wine cellar. We arrived a little early for our 8:00 reservation, and they weren't able to accomodate us immediately, but that was not a problem.... (more)

My wife and I ate here last week during a business trip. I had found the restaurant via previous good reviews on this website. We were not disappointed. Our server (a young lady whose name I can't now recall) was... (more)

I went here for the first time a last week with my girlfriend after a coworker recommended it, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The food was fantastic and not too expensive, the lighting and ambience worked very... (more)
